[[ Anyone interested in following my new blog? Can’t tell you what character. You’ll have to follow to find out. > u>
Lemme know if you wanna follow.
[[ My follower number has increased by two. And I haven’t even been on recently. :I
[[ Oh god. Yes. Of course I cried about that one. And so many tears were shed over Stygian Solace. How could I even forget. Agh.
[[ My last post was a week ago. Oops. Hi. I’m back.
Name a fandom you know I know and I’ll tell you
1. The first character I first fell in love with
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now
3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t
4. The character I love that everyone else hates
5. The character I used to love but don’t any longer
6. The character I would totally smooch
7. The character I’d want to be like
8. The character I’d slap
9. A pairing that I love
10. A pairing that I despise

[[ haha
oops
neglecting this blog.
Ah, the dreaded holiday. Thank goodness the day is almost over.
[[ Okay. It’s time for me to rudely interrupt the things on your dash to as kindly, and logically, as possible make this very, very clear.
As much as I would just love for Sora and Riku to be canon, they’re not, and they were never intended to be. All of this rubbish going around that Kingdom Hearts was originally meant to be a “yaoi” is just ignorant gossip. I know that there’s a theory that Squeenix was going to make it all homoerotic, but then Disney said no — but that’s just silly.
And, for the record, Kairi was not simply thrown in to the game. She had a very important role in that series, and that’s not something that could have been added last minute or anything like that; this is coming from a person who isn’t all that fond of Kairi in the least.
Furthermore, AkuRoku? Not canon, either. Sometimes I really wish that it could be — and not because I’m some shallow fangirl that wants to see those two have wild, fantastic sex. Rather, I like it because of the raw, unadulterated something that those two feel for each other, despite being “emotionless” and heartless. Their relationship is that kind of knee weakening bullshit that you read about in fairy tales, except it’s a lot more realistic. But it wasn’t, isn’t, canon. They were friends. They felt for one another as much as they could, but they weren’t gay. Roxas clearly meant something to Axel, but I wish people would stop assuming that just because two male characters are close, it means they’re fucking behind closed doors.
So please, please don’t post things and spread pointless gossip around. Can we please all just… enjoy the game series for what it’s worth, and stop talking about “OH MY GOD LOOK AT ALL OF THIS HOMOSEXUALITY AHHH DESU DESU”? Because if that’s what you’re into Kingdom Hearts for. I want you out of this fandom. Right now.
Don’t get me wrong, though. I do have my ships. I love me some Soriku, and I dabble diligently in AkuRoku, but I know that these pairings will never, ever be apart of the actual storyline, and I fully accept that. At the end of the day, my ships aren’t what’s important — my love for this franchise is what really matters.
[[ The ending destroyed my emotions. Life was never the same after that fic. ;-;
